Notary Signature and Seal

Fees for signatures are controlled by the State of Texas. The maximum fee is $6.00 ($10 beginning 9/1/2023) for an acknowledgment or jurat.  Travel, time and convenience fees are in addition to notary fees. Our notary carries a current state mandated fee list and it is available upon request.

Estimated Travel Fees

Travel fees are determined by where I have to go to meet a client and the number and type of non-notarized documents such as witnessed documents. These rates can also be used to determine rates for other services based on a scheduled turnaround.  Rush fees may apply.

We actively service the following zip codes: 75075, 75093, 75094, 75023, 75024, 75025, 75074, 75081, 75082. If a zip isn’t listed on the form, or if you have additional requirements such as pickup and delivery to more than one location on the same trip, please call for an estimate. We now have a minimum charge of $55 ($65 beginning 9/1/2023) with additional fees charged outside 75075. Travel fee does not include notary fees. Notary fees are charged as allowed by Texas. General rule is $6.00 ($10 beginning 9/1/2023) per signature.

Rates are based on round trip travel and include mileage. Additional fees as allowed by the state for notary signatures is in addition to the stated travel fees and will be applied. Additional charges may also apply for time waiting on site or for witnessing documents.

If you need only a witness or notary, the travel fee for your location applies. An additional fee of $50 for each witness is added to the notary fee. This rate is only available with combined with a notary trip. If the notary is serving as the witness the fee is the same as the travel fee for your location. In most cases, the witnesses arrive with the Notary so witnesses don’t incur an additional travel fee.
